Tinnitus, commonly referred to as, “Ringing in the ears” and can be high pitched ringing or buzzing, rushing sound, clicking and any other sound heard in the auditory system without the presence of an actual stimulus.
Hyperacusis is a decreased tolerance of sound which can become a serious problem. Some patients experience Hyperacusis without tinnitus. Some patients experience Hyperacusis in addition to tinnitus. Tinnitus Retraining Therapy can restore totally or partially the normal level of sensitivity to sound.
We will work closely with you and your doctors to formulate a specialized treatment plan using Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) especially formulated to your condition and needs.
